Lighting and metal reflectors
The best-illuminated holder materials and production quality are pointless if the lighting and hence advertising effect isn't optimally harmonised. That's why Erler+Pless normally don't use cheap neon tubing. Several neon tubes are optimally arranged to exactly suit the format instead. Although virtually any illuminated holder shape is feasible specific formats are optimal from a lighting standpoint. Please ask regarding our location costing and enquire on the subject as sometimes a few centimetres in format can mean a vast improvement in quality. To support optimal lighting most of our illuminated holders don't feature simple aluminium backing but specially made reflector panels. The tailored aluminium corrugated panels offer maximum light reflection and ensure homogenous illumination of your advertising message. In the flat holder a special prism technology is employed to achieve optimal results despite laterally arranged light sources.

Panes
Every holder has two panes with the slide inserted between them. The external one in our holders is always an anti-reflection pane of specially ground plexiglass to prevent mirror images. As lit slides are usually of opalescent material the second pane is usually of clear plexiglass. If your motifs are on transparent¬ slides the second pane can be opalescent plexiglass if desired. This prevents the shape of the neon lighting becoming visible.

Power supply
All illuminated holders can be commissioned immediately as they are supplied complete with 230 V cable and plug. The white cable has a standard length of 290 cm. Different lengths and/or 110 V cable/s /plug/s are available at an extra charge. The cable outlet is on the back of the holder but can be positioned elsewhere if required. All the components we use have the GS and CE approval kite marks.
